VTCA is proud to offer a number of scholarships. These programs are great opportunities for deserving and qualified young people. If you have any questions concerning the scholarships listed below, contact for more information.
Associate Scholarship Program (Available to VTCA member company dependents)
The Associate membership is composed of suppliers to Virginia’s transportation construction industries. The Associates offer two scholarships each year to children of member companies - The Associate Scholarship and The Rutherfoord Scholarship. Students in a two-year college program are eligible for up to $1,500. Students in a four-year college program are eligible for up to $3,000. Deadline is May 11, 2012.

Transportation Engineering Scholarship Program (Available to Anyone)
This scholarship program is sponsored by the VTCA Architectural/Engineering membership. The scholarship provides support to freshman, sophomore or junior young men and women pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Construction Management in a Commonwealth of Virginia four-year institution. Two scholarships are offered in the amount of $2,000. Deadline is May 11, 2012.

Aggregate Scholarship Program (Available to Anyone)
This scholarship program is sponsored by the VTCA Aggregate membership. The scholarship provides support to freshman, sophomore or junior young men and women pursuing a degree in one of the following areas: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Geology or Mining and Mineral Engineering in a Commonwealth of Virginia four-year institution. The amount of the scholarship is up to $1,500. Deadline is April 13, 2012.
Aggregate Scholarship Program Application
Contractor Scholarship Program (Available to VTCA company dependents, employees and spouses)
This scholarship program is sponsored by the VTCA Contractor membership. The scholarship provides support to dependent children, employees or spouses of those working for VTCA member companies who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in a Commonwealth of Virginia institution. The amount of the scholarship is up to $4,000. Deadline is May 11, 2012.

NOVA Transportation Scholarship Program (Available to VTCA member company and VDOT employee dependents)
The Hilliard Charity and Fellowship Outing funds a college scholarship for children of VDOT employees or VTCA member companies. Students in a two-year program are eligible for up to $1,250. Students in a four-year college program are eligible for up to $2,500. Deadline is May 11, 2012. (Note: VTCA is a partner in this program)
NOVA Transportation Scholarship Program Application
Virginia Highway Workers Scholarship Program (Available to VTCA and ACPA Mid-Atlantic Chapter company dependents, employees and spouses)
This scholarship is administered by the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA), the American Concrete Pavement Association Mid-Atlantic Chapter (ACPA), with assistance from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). The scholarship is funded by the Annual Highway Workers Golf Tournament. This scholarship provides financial assistance to qualified and deserving students attending institutions of higher learning. Up to $3,000 will be awarded this year. Deadline is May 1, 2012. (Note: VTCA is a partner in this program)
